Holiday Inn Gaithersburg by IHG

Checkin was super fast & friendly. Quick clean stay. Quiet. We stayed on the 3rd floor but was in a different building. There are 2 buildings attached and both have separate elevators. Small kcup machine in the rooms. Comfiest bed. Slept like a hibernating bear in winter. Wow. Each bedside has a small reading lamp which is really nice. No breakfast but there is a dunkin within 3 minutes of the hotel. There is also a costco in walking distance.

This hotel definitely shows it age but overall, the rooms are well kept and the staff at the front desk and the restaurant are very kind and welcoming. The shower has great water pressure and all the dove amenities. The heater is strong which was great during these cold temps. Also love that there’s a microwave, fridge and self-service laundry. Great value for the price. Hopefully a renovation will come down the line and it’ll be even better!

This was the first time in the area. This is a very nice Holiday Inn. The room was very nice and spacious. Everything was clean and the water pressure in the shower was great. The room was very reasonably priced and while the breakfast buffet is a little pricey when purchased separately, the selection was very good and the food was warm and fresh. I will stay here again if I am back in the area.

UPDATE: The staff found my necklace!! These guys are miracle workers, let me tell you!! THANK YOUUUU Just have to go public about the kindness of the staff here— I misplaced a necklace during my stay and while we weren’t able to find it, the combined effort of the front desk and cleaning staff meant a lot in terms of relieving the stress over losing something dear to us. Will be recommending this place! We loved the pool too

Mouna, Lisa, and Kenny were amazing very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel and location in particular. Food was great front desk is helpful and informative and the bar was memorable. Five stars.

An older property that has had some aesthetic upgrades, but could use a few more. The light fixtures in the room were dated and a bottle opener was on the bathroom door frame behind the door. The bed was super comfortable, the room was clean and quiet. There was a Keurig, microwave and small fridge with a freezer compartment. We stopped at Giant to get coffee and breakfast items. It was a good place to stay and not too far from the Metro.

We checked in at 12 o’clock at night because we were extremely tired from driving, the check-in was nice and quick unfortunately they don’t have free breakfast but they have free coffee, the rooms are kind of small and so are the bathrooms. I wasn’t able to take pictures only being able to sleep in their room for 4 hours being we had to get back to work. It’s ok location if you like the city, I had to call the front desk operator to see if they had any contact solutions unfortunately, they don’t carry that at their good sales are haa. Anyway it was a 700 room floor so we were all the way at the top. I believe it was a good view, but never got to look!

Great ascetic, extremely friendly and wonderful staff. The king rooms come with a couch that is comfortable and the bed is fantastic. There is a microwave, and mini fridge included. The location is unique with a diverse amount of culture.
